A Modern Interpretation of Egyptian Architecture

The concept suggests a modern reinterpretation of the magnificence of Egyptian architecture. The orientation of the land is counter-balanced by a different angle, destined to create an interaction between the interior of the building and the beautiful alignment of oak trees.
The materials combined a solid core with a glass cladding, permitting protection & climate control.
Metallic accents introduced a contrast to the solid stone.
The treatment of the surface reminds us of the major role played by the library of Alexandria in Egypt’s cultural heritage. Combining ancient wisdom with high technology, the panels were created by a cold-applied process, to a thin layer of metal and served as a support for engraving the text.
